私が職場で使っている英会話表現を紹介いたします。紹介しようと思った経緯については下記のブログを参照してください。
英会話を身に付けるにはどうしたらいいか？→職場での学習方法を紹介します。
新しい装置を試作した後、機能確認をする段階に入りました。以下は、アメリカ人の同僚Jさんと私が実験現場でやり取りをする時の表現です。
私「Please let me turn off the machine or you will be injured.」（機械を止めさせて。でないと君が怪我をするから。）
私「Please make sure to press the stop button before you enter the partition.」（パーテーションの中に入る前に、必ずストップボタンを押してください。）
私「Remove the current device, and attach the prototype.」（現状の装置を取り外したら、試作品を取り付けて。」

私「As your boss mentioned, you are better at handling this device than I.」（上司が言ったように、この装置の扱いは君の方が上手いよ。）
私「If you need any additional tools or parts, please search in this area.」（何か追加で工具や部品が必要になったら、この場所で探してみてね。）
私「How long do you think it will take you to finish this test?」（このテストにはどの位時間がかかると思う？）
Jさん「Maybe several hours. I’m not sure, but when I ‘m done, I’ll let you know.」（多分、数時間かな。はっきりしないけど終わったら知らせます。）
Jさん「I’m sorry. I’m very stupid. I failed to reinstall this in the device.」（すいません。馬鹿なことしました。装置にこの部品を再び取り付けるのを忘れました。）
私「Oh, that’s OK.」（ああ、大丈夫だよ。）
