私が職場で使っている英会話表現を紹介いたします。紹介しようと思った経緯については下記のブログを参照してください。
英会話を身に付けるにはどうしたらいいか？→職場での学習方法を紹介します。
新しい装置を試作した後、機能確認をする段階に入りました。以下は、アメリカ人の同僚Jさんと私が実験現場でやり取りをする時の表現です。私が使う表現を主に紹介します。
「Do you have a plan to work overtime today?」（今日は残業する予定はあるの？）
「Could you tell me the serial number of the product?」（その製品のシリアル番号を教えてもらえますか？）
「How did you identify?」（どうして判ったの？）
「The serial number can be seen on the side surface. It’s written by a pencil.」（シリアル番号は側面に鉛筆で書いてあります。）

「The necessary softwear has been already installed into the PC?」（必要なソフトはもうインストールしてあるの？）
「This tendency is not the same as the previous one.」（この傾向は前回のと同じじゃないね。）
「Whether the fractuation is caused by the softwear or not is now under investigation by Mr.M.」（この変動がソフトウェアによるものなのかどうかは現在、Mさんが調査中です。）
「Oh, I’ve found the cause of the trouble. This main cable is not connected. It’s Mr.M’s fault.」（ああ、トラブルの原因がわかった。メインのケーブルが繋がってないや。これはMさんのせいだね。）
「Have you injured your finger? I’ll take you to the first-aid kit.」（指を怪我したの？救急箱のところまで案内するよ。）
「I’m leaving. If you have any problem, please don’t hesitate to call me.」（私は戻ります。何かあったら遠慮せず電話してね。）
